FIRST ON FOX: Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Wednesday wrote to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas seeking more information about the screening of migrants who have come through the border via the CBP One app and are seeking to board flights.
"While Americans must present an acceptable form of identification to fly, or at least have their identities confirmed, TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is permitting illegal aliens without ID to opt for an alternate identity verification process utilizing the…'CBP One' app," Cruz says in the letter to Mayorkas, saying the process "takes illegal aliens at their word" on certain data and allows them to obtain DHS documents and fly out of airports.
"In effect, TSA is applying one standard for verifying the identities of American citizens, and another, weaker standard for ‘verifying’ the identities of illegal aliens. This is alarming."
The U.S. has been allowing around 1,600 migrants a day to be paroled into the U.S. through ports of entry using the CBP One app, which allows migrants to upload photographs and other information and schedule an appointment with a CBP officer.
Cruz, the ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee, says that even if they do not have a passport or other way to prove their identity, they can still be paroled into the U.S.
He then says that if they try to fly out of an airport, "TSA may use his unverified name and date of birth in CBP One to verify his identity, even though the person may in fact be a terrorist or other criminal traveling under a fake identity." Similarly, he says, Immigration and Customs Enforcement can use that data to issue a card to them under their name and date of birth.

Just an odd question...since this ID-form-letter is pretty generic, why couldn’t a regular American guy/gal make up a fake one and just walk through the TSA folks with that, instead of a regular ID (dressed of course in traditional Peruvian clothing and uttering ‘I-don’t-speak-English’ over and over.

It doesn’t matter. All of this is just show. Cruz and all the rest of the spineless Republicans will still give Biden & his minions all the money they want, to do what ever they want. The best use of these Senate & House committee rooms is to make porno flicks. At least someone other then the American people are getting the shaft.

When I flew out of Phoenix recently, there numerous illegals on my flight. They each had a plastic pouch hanging around their neck with paperwork inside. They were the very first allowed to board. One was sitting directly in front of me i first class.

Exactly right!
Over the last three years I-35 through Texas has been widened and rebuilt. They also have built or are building truck/auto stations at almost every intersection along the interstate. They are moving this mass of people into the country to replace the old style citizens.
They want the hungry handout grabbing newcomers who can be indoctrinated to believe the government lies.
They are not going to stop this invasion, or even slow it down.
Don’t believe me? Just go visit Interstate 35 anywhere and sit and watch for 30 minutes. Guarantee you will see multiple buses tagged from Mexico going both directions. It never stops.
Are these planes chartered just with illegals from who knows where or are they regular commercial flights with US families aboard?
When ALLAH AKBAR is shouted before the jet explodes in midair I hope David Muir remembers to show the names of those murdered by the Jihad Junta.
This is truth. They can't even defund a democrat propagandda arm like PBS, much less a useless agency full to the brim of mouth-breathers like the TSA.
