For those with kids (and for the young at heart) Vanity

I’m an old lady, but I’m still tickled by the NORAD Santa Tracker.
They now have a chatbot named ‘Radar’, and the kids can ask it questions (try ‘How do reindeer fly?’ Or ‘How does Santa do it in one night?’)

As I compose this, we are 1 day, 10 hours, 50 minutes and 57 seconds to liftoff.
The story of how the tradition began is fun too:

I don’t know how many around here have kids, but I’ll bet there are a LOT of Grandkids! lol
Always found this cool, will share with the 11 Grandkids. Thank you!

I actually had the fortune to tour inside Cheyenne Mountain where they track Santa. :)

Miss that show. One of my all time favorites.
All the characters were fantastic!

I liked Klinger. He tried so hard to get his ‘Section 8’, but nobody was buying his shtick.

Beautiful.
'You may tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart.
'Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, VIRGINIA, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding. No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.'
