You couldn’t pay me to be in NYC or any other city tonight. I’m too wary to attend even a small-town NYE’s celebration. Bad players, including some in our own alphabet agencies are too likely to take advantage and cause chaos somewhere. It could be in a major city such as NYC or even a small sleepy town in the south or mid-west.
I’ll spend the evening at home, be in bed by 9 or 10 and will sleep until the neighbors through the woods start their fireworks extravaganza finale. IIRC, thunderstorms moved in around 12:30 a.m. last year so God’s fireworks took over and everyone else finally gave up.
Anyone who goes there is freakin’ nuts. You have to get there around 6am to get a good spot, you have to wear diapers because if you leave to go to the bathroom you lose your spot, and it’s freezing out right now and for what?
