Conditions are horrific.
For the longest time every drug bust locally was either Harvey or Detroit residents.
Looks like an old motel. Nobody is going to fix up that dump. It needs razed. I imagine they might have all been told to leave because the place was going to be shut down and this guy didn’t know.
That is a pathetic situation.

That’s a veritable treasure trove of plywood. I’d be stacking that stuff in my living room and auctioning it off to the highest bidder.
A “street-sweeper” shotgun would work - and it has more other uses than an axe....
It’s criminal.
Local government has known about this for months and, best as I can find, has done nothing.
Haven’t gone after the slum lords.
Haven’t declared the place uninhabitable and removed the tenants.
My bet is that there’s money to be made and that both the owners and local bureaucrats are planning on making some without appearing to get their hands dirty while doing so.
