In his first interview since dropping out of the presidential race, DeSantis told Blaze TV’s Steve Deace that the blame is on Iowa caucusgoers who rallied behind front-runner Donald Trump even though many didn’t like him.
“They did not want to see Trump nominated again, but they had basically been told that it was inevitable, that it was over,” DeSantis told Deace on Tuesday. DeSantis, who lost to Trump in the Iowa caucuses earlier this month, added that those voters were “checked out” and had “just totally dropped out of the process.”
The Florida governor told Deace he’d consider running again “if we have a country left in 2028.”

Pride cometh before the fall. DeSantis allowed his head to be filled with visions of geandeur by the likes of Karl Rove and the Trump hating Bush family.
DeSantis lacks the skill of honest introspection.
That is a horrible flaw—means he is doomed to repeat stupid mistakes.

A couple days ago I was listening to Hannity on the car radio. He said RD is young, and the future of the GOP, don’t throw him overboard, he’s done great things for Florida.
I threw him overboard awhile ago. Good governor for Florida. Stay there. I’ll never vote for him for anything.

If Mr. Fancy Shoes would lie about something as simple as his height it stands to reason that he would likely lie about anything else as well. I’ve had quite enough of lying politicians thank you very much.
