Think twice about a tropical getaway to the Caribbean this winter.
The U.S. embassy in the Bahamas has released a security warning and travel advisory that the island nation is currently unsafe for tourists amidst 18 murders — “primarily” motivated by gang violence — in January alone.
Safety concerns have reached a point of severity where U.S. officials say people shouldn’t even try to “physically resist” being robbed.
“Murders have occurred at all hours including in broad daylight on the streets,” the embassy wrote in a release, also recommending the use of “extreme caution” on the eastern side of the Bahamas’ capital city of Nassau.
The embassy also says that Americans should be especially vigilant at nighttime and “keep a low profile” always.
The U.S. State Department, which on Friday put the Bahamas on an “exercise increased caution” warning, noted that the danger persists in tourist and non-tourist areas.

Earlier this week, the State Department also put nearby Jamaica on a level three of four “reconsider travel” advisory — the only higher threat being a “do not travel” warning.
“Violent crimes, such as home invasions, armed robberies, sexual assaults, and homicides, are common,” the department warns.
“Sexual assaults occur frequently, including at all-inclusive resorts.”

Want a tropical vacation? Go to Guam. No need for a passport, no customs, and little to no crime. You also can see some WWII history as well.
We went there for our honeymoon in the 90s, and we have zero desire to go back. Once you are out of the tourist areas, it is a third-world dump. On our first day, a man approached my wife in a store and asked her if she’d like to buy some “nose candy.” As we exited a tour bus, a woman offered to sell us her baby for $100. For the remaining two days of our trip, we didn’t venture far from our hotel. We were very relieved when we got back on our cruise ship.
18 murders so far?
They have only 8 to go before they catch up with Chicago.
The selling drugs is part of a common scam. Someone will offer to sell you drugs and a couple of minutes latter a cop will ask to search your belongings. Once they find the drugs they will tell you they can make the charges disappear for a fee. The cop and the drug dealer then split the money.
The elitists want anarchy to better control the world.
Since they cannot yet restrict people’s movement and free association, if they make it dangerous enough, people will willingly stay home or near home to stay safe and be able to protect their property.
I was once told that Guam has snakes so large they stretch across roadways.
A friend of mine who grew up in Jamaica and has sworn never to return told me that if you leave the tourist area the Jamaicans will cut your throat.

Dear Hearts and Gentle People (1949)
...those dear hearts and gentle people
Will never ever let you down
They read the Good Book
From Friday ‘til Monday
That’s how the weekend goes
I feel so welcome each time that I return
That my happy heart keeps laughing like a clown
I love the dear hearts and gentle people
Who live and love in my home town.
African DNA can not be erased even after generations. People can call me a racist all they want but prove me wrong...
“Once you are out of the tourist areas, it is a third-world dump.”
Like virtually every US city at this point. The big difference, from what I can see in this article, is that the media is PERMITTED to state the above regarding Bahamas and similar place, but not regarding our cities, as that would be ‘racism’.
So does Florida. I think the only snakes you need fear on Guam are the Brown Tree Snakes.
Tourists were killed?
I like Tom Lehrer’s song “My Home Town”. There are some YouTube videos.
It’s just their culture, folks. Don’t be judgmental. Go on vacation and get some diversity, ok? Diversity is the national religion, so don’t knock it.
I went today a crazy party one night in the jungle of Jamaica in 1990.
There was a ranch house in the middle of the jungle that the locals had taken over.
I was surprised it had electricity and even satellite TV, I watch a clerics game while there.
Looking back on that week I feel that I might be lucky to be alive...
today = to
clerics = celtics
