“What’s an anti-Trump ‘conservative’?”
An America-hating person who calls himself a ‘conservative’.
The author doesn’t get it even though he likes “Rich” and debated him.
In those days Rich was a big Bush lover and in favor of Iraq war. He hasn’t changed a bit but the GOP has.
A fantasy being pushed by the Left.
Yeah it’s more like wishful thinking to splinter off votes I guess.
Wouldnt an anti-anti-Trumper be FOR President Trump ???
That 2nd anti would cancel out the first one ...
You’re a sadist posting Corn here, nothing worth reading or responding to
You are correct sir.
An anti-Trump conservative is fiscally responsible liberal. They believe in social programs, but they are less willing to run run deficits to finance them.
That's because the greatest threat to the nation is from the left, David Cornball. Answer me this: who is trying to take people's guns? Who threw the border wide open? Who sparked all those riots in 2020? Etc.
Lowry has long been a Neocon NeverTrumper. Its no wonder he went along with the Steal and readily parroted the Democrats’ lies about the stolen 2020 election as well as the Jan 6 Fedsurrection.
Hardly anybody reads the National Review anymore. Soon it will probably go the way of the Weekly Standard.
Absolutely spot on and what I think which is why I found the distinction strange.
NR claims Trump lied about the 2020 election theft?
They are beyond uniparty compromised, which shouldn’t really be surprising, considering their CIA roots back to their founding.
The author and certain people he CALLS conservatives are buddies.
Tells you everything.
I think in thrall to either the state or weapons manufactures
Not sure...
It’s strange. Like FLT said similar to the Weekly Standard and Kristol they are.
There really is no separating out the state and the weapons manufacturers, as far as interests and influence go.
Yeah agreed. Follow the money.
These organs serve a purpose I suppose.
I really hope Trump is serious about shaking things up...
I’m surprised it let me post that site here - I thought it would say No (Ha!).
Sometimes I find it interesting to read what they’re saying.
Who knew their favorite “type” of “conservative” would be a raging Bushie, pro-War neocon fanatic like Lowry.
Interesting times.
” I like Rich. Years ago, we used to tour college campuses debating each other on policy and politics...”
He sounds like UniParty politicians decrying the end of “bipartisanship”. where they would “debate the issues” then go off to the bar and be friends.
The politicians were play-acting in a fake fight for the rubes, and Corn and Lowry the same.
AKA, BigCon grifters. If the money stream disappears, so will they. Corn has been attached to the underside of BigCon like a sea lamprey.
