SNAP went down 3x last year, already 1x this year, can't recall it happening more than once in last 10 years. I started to get suspicious beyond the state's incompetency...this article gives greater pause. In MA, majority of users are Asian, Eastern European , Latino or Russian. They will just take it off our stand and walk away next time.

Now they have “EBT water”. Some states offer a fee for plastic bottle return. Deadbeats buy bottled water with the EBT card, pour out the water, and return the bottles for the deposit.

Now the scan is to buy cases of soda with SNAP benefits, then resell them to convenience store operators for cash at 50% of value.

They’d be doing us a favor since a) we’re broke and b) welfare is unconstitutional - the feddies weren’t granted that power by the constitution.
