This event wasn't just the end of the Cold War and the start of the reunification of Germany. This moment marked the end of Russian domination and enslavement in Eastern Europe. All of the horrors of the Russian dictatorship suddenly collapsed under the weight of oppression. People sought freedom.
This is something to remember when people in Europe are once again fighting back Russian domination and enslavement.
