Not everyone mourns the queen. For many, she can't be separated from colonial rule
NPR ^ | 9/12/22 | Julianna Kim

When she took the throne in 1952, more than a quarter of the world's population was under British imperial power. That was more than 700 million people — including in parts of Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific islands. ,p> While her 70-year reign saw the British Empire become the Commonwealth of Nations — and the decline of the United Kingdom's global influence — the scars of colonialism linger. Many note the enslavement, violence and theft that defined imperial rule, and they find it difficult to separate the individual from the institution and its history.p>

Get mad at me, but she was the biggest defender of Western Culture in the 20th century, even though her uncle brrought her in that position, by marrying an American whore, Wallace Simpson.

It wouldn’t be NPR if they didn’t take a shot at white western civilization.

She ain’t no human bean.

Royalty is nonsense.

Not her fault, she didn’t invent it.

But she didn’t resign, say no I’m not anything different.

Nor are her lowlife children and grand children.

If they were colonies when she was crowned and commonwealth when she dies, they’re mad at the wrong person.

NPR, a communist front and a defender of the slave-owner, Jim Crow-sponsoring Democrats? Who believes anything they say? If Trump gets elected again, will he please kick these deadbeats off the government teat?

Probably not. He showed no inclination to do so last time.

Losers blame others for their failures.

Winners learn from others success.

Ever notice the English colonies are some of the most successful? The English brought with them a system of governance, systems and processes, infrastructure, that in those countries where it stuck, made them prosper. This is merely the loser reciprocal argument.

Royalty is nonsense.

Joe Biden. Chuck Schumer. Barack Obama. Nancy Pelosi. Bill Clinton. Barbara Mikulski. Kamala Harris. Hank Johnson. Maxine Waters. Sheila Jackson Lee. Jimmy Carter. Frederica Wilson. Ketanji Brown Jackson. Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Because popular vote is sooooo much better a way to select leaders than inheritance.

She presided over the end of colonial rule, so that’s a big stretch of guilt by association. Not that she had any choice either way.

A monarchy is at least concerned with the long term success of the nation.

The @ssholes we have in charge don’t care if the burn the house down as long as they win the next elections, and their time horizon is never more than 3 years.

Working to bring civilization to the darkest corners of the world was a challenge for sure. Some places worked, many did not.

When people in Africa decided to sell their own people around the world can’t blame the buyer.

No market no sale

They were the leading sellers of them
