Some of the complainers probably need to eat more fiber anyway.
EC
When I first heard this on the news, I commented to my wife: “It makes sense. cereal is a fairly low dollars per calory item to buy. That’s a good way to preserve cash”.
The lefties pushing a boycott clearly don’t understand the real world.
Sure.....
I’ll do it later today. We’ll be heading off to church in a bit.
Isn’t just cereals that are bad for you, most everything is now days. Look into the history of the food pyramid propaganda (Kelloggs involvement). Cut out the carbs, SUGAR and most plants... many ailments will resolve themselves. Diabetes, thyroid, gut issues, etc. Hint, Hint... why do they want to get rid of true beef so bad and replace it with fake stuff? Take a little trip down the rabbit hole, it’s very eye opening.
No. Both.
The anger at someone so callus as to try to profit off others misfortune is justified.
Not to mention that breakfast cereal is NOT cheap and is no answer to cutting food costs and that it is nutritionally bankrupt.
I come from the multiverse where it's Froot Loops. And Berenstein Bears. And the Lion shall lie down with the Lamb.
I have cereal for dinner sometimes with a banana. Probably cheaper than most meals. People need to get a live and look at the root cause of inflation. Look in the White House first.
Cereal is too expensive. The prices of those boxes of air are extreme.
I hope this boycott has some effect. We won’t participate ‘cause we just buy Brand X generics.
“Just as they have been reporting all of the chemicals in cereals that can lead to low fertility “
Even better! (In their minds.) That’s what they’re going for, right?
a boycott because he suggested breakfast for dinner?
That’s a bit much. sometimes i eat oatmeal as my last meal of the day. Nothing wrong with it.
It seems less like a gaff by Kellogg’s and more like our modern oversensitive society thinking they’re entitled eat whatever they want for any meal. Growing up in the stagflation of the 70s a lot of us did exactly this when required.
Kellogg is further left and more woke than Disney.
I use cereal as a vector for eating fruit - slice up some bananas or toss some blueberries in a bowl of Cheerios.
Healthier alternative than most other midnight snack choices.
That’s what I was thinking; the price of most name-brand cereal is no bargain. I don’t buy much cereal, so don’t buy much milk to go with it either. I just don’t figure how anyone could afford cereal for every meal. Besides that, I would think most people would want a little variety.
Cereal is garbage food. I think the first nutritional degree had some backing from General Mills. The first degree recommended 6-11 servings of wheat.
Guess what GM products mostly contain…wheat.
Vegetables, fruits, organic animal products, nuts and seeds are the best foundation.
Don’t forget to move and sleep plenty.
I’ve worn the Libre series of diabetic glucose monitors, and I can tell you that NOTHING will spike your blood sugar like breakfast cereal does. It’s basically poison and should be avoided. I was sad to give it up, because it does taste good obviously with all the sugar, but combined with the grain it’s a nightmare for your blood sugar.
You can eat pancakes or waffles with light syrup and not get the sugar spike that most breakfast cereals will give you.
Thanks!
Have a great worship service!
That is what my Doc said. She said it’s better to eat Cream of Wheat it’s higher in iron.
Fifty pounds of good quality oatmeal is about 18 dollars. A fairly good basis for a diet when pennypinching
