But I think if LeBron transgenders he could beat her record!

With al his flopping, maybe he did years ago.

She’s a great athlete. I wouldn’t talk about Pete Maravich at all. It’s impossible to compare. Apples and oranges and all that.

It sounds like people are comparing apples and oranges here.

Does she have the all-time college scoring records for either men or women , or is he just Setting a record for women?

I’ve heard in baseball that the all-time record for home runs is over 800 home runs set by a player in Japan.

Is it significant that someone in Japanese baseball has hit more home runs than anyone ever has in Major League Baseball?

I’ve heard she’s an ACTUAL biological woman. I hope that’s true.

They didn’t credit her as being transgender, so there is hope that is true. 🙂

The quality is there so I have great respect for Japanese baseball.

Don't forget Josh Gibson from Negro Leagues. He was a tremendous talent. Imagine if he was able to play in MLB.

I was living in Chicagoland when the Bulls were wining championship year after year. I do not recall even MJ scoring that many deadly 3-pointers.

If you followed the Bulls, you should know, Michael Jordan was never known for shooting threes.

On the Bulls, Steve Kerr was the three point shooter. (I don't know if he still holds it, but he did hold the all time three percentage for college ball.)

Jordan was a career 32.7% three point shooter, while Kerr 45.4% three pint shooter.

The pros didn't really practice shooting threes back then. Now anyone can do it if you practice it enough. Nikola Jokić can shoot threes. He wouldn't be able to do that 20 years ago.

Comparing Clark and Maravich is really apples to oranges. Both of them are outstanding for various reasons. It really is like the argument of the greatest HR hitter in MLB history. Many people will say Babe Ruth because of the sheer dominance he had over everyone else even though Bonds has the most in the final tally.

Arguments are over shots per game with Clark and Maravich. Yes he took many more and each one was worth two points. An LSU official went back over the shot charts that they had kept for Pete’s games and awarded that extra point for what would have been a 3 in today’s game. Pete would have averaged 57 a game based on the data! While the charts may have not been precise, one could safely say he would have been around 52-53 PPG. The discrepancy in FGA pretty much disappears right there if he is averaging 24-25 points per game more than her. Wow. Also, remember that the women play with a smaller ball. How many baskets did Pete lose due this fact that Clark had an extra 2 inches of space to utilize? It also would make his shooting percentages lower.

It is not my intention to bring Clark’s achievements down. What I mean to point out is how incredible Maravich was. LSU was not a good team when he arrived. Pete made them respectable. It is a shame they didn’t have a 64-68 team tourney field back when he played. So many great players never got to showcase their talents to the country.

Back then, Reggie Miller and Ray Allen were the big three point shooters in the league. I thin when Reggie Miller retired he was the NBA leader, then Ray Allen surpassed him. Currently, Allen is #2 on the list, and Reggie Miller is #4. So even with the three point craziness today, they are still up there.

Well, Bonds was using designer PEDs, while Babe Ruth was using hot dogs and beer.

And there were less teams, so Bonds got to go against worse pitchers.

On the other hand, Babe Ruth didn’t go against Satchel Paige and other stars from the Negro Leagues.

No 3 point shots, and scoring by teams was generally 100-120 points between both teams. I remember when Houston came out, they called them Phi Slamma Jamma. There was another little College from Cali, that scored like a pinball machine. When they added the 3 point line, and called 3 seconds on a defender, things really changed.

Good going Caitlyn, you are a the highest star of your era.

Asterisk. Women use a soccer ball and a basketball goal.
