I totally agree with this article except for the use of one word in this paragraph:

World leaders sometimes make bad decisions. However, the unilateral decision of Fauci to have the NIAID partner with Moderna to develop an mRNA vaccine in response to the predictable COVID pandemic and not have the NIAID engage the FDA to grant EUA for the immediately available and effective off-label use of FDA-approved therapeutics that were already on pharmacy shelves has had devastating unintended consequences.

I'm sure he used it to avoid being sued, but I think the opposite is far closer to the truth.

There are lots of problems with the way "we" (US) responded to this, but two that deal with the vaccine are key.

1) Why focus solely on a vaccine? I read a paper on the progression of the Covid-19 disease, and there are 13 proteins generated by the virus. They have the effect of breaking down hemoglobin and preventing blood from carrying oxygen around the system. So, tactic one: Provide supplmental oxygen - do *not* put the patient on a ventilator, which toughens up the lung alveoli walls and further impedes oxygenation of the blood. Tactic two: Find something to break the chain the virus uses to break down hemoglobin. Chloroquins do this. The virus proteins have a greater affinity for chloroquins than for heme (the iron-carrying part of hemoglobin) so they get tied up by the chloroquins. No one in the US government *ever* talked about the disease mechanism - what the virus actually does.

A large part of that is because Fauci was/is a virologist, not an epidemiologist. He only sees vaccines because that's how you prevent viruses from gaining a foothold in your system. But treating the symptoms can be part of an effective counter to an epidemic.

2) Why use mRNA instead of a traditional vaccine? This is an enduring problem and I agree with you that mRNA vaccines are highly questionable. A traditional vaccine, using either killed or weakened viruses, triggers the body to counter all the associated proteins (in the case of Covid-19, thirteen of them). But a key issue is that viruses mutate. The mRNA 'vaccine' only triggered antibodies for the spike protein - 1 of 13 - and as soon as that one protein mutated (accelerated since that one protein no longer resulted in virus propagation) the 'vaccine' was no longer effective. Hence the need for constant boosters.

And that's even aside from the problems of RNA or DNA 'scraps' in the vaccine fluid, which can have an unknown but scary list of side effects.

This was always about public control, not about public health. Mandating masks (think - keeping mosquitos out with a chain link fence), and then multiple masks, lockdowns, denying the value of 'natural immunity', etc. were all about finding out how far they could push the people to do ridiculous things all in the name of 'public health.' By that standard, Fauci's 'experiment' was a resounding success.

But how could you be certain? Whom could you trust to tell you the truth? I wish I knew the answer to that. I’m in the “Trust no one” mode.

Yes Trump, were he omniscient, would have insisted on pushing hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and supportive care instead of the untested mRNA pseudovaccine/bioweapon.

But he is a lay person, not a medical person or scientist.

He trusted the conspirators who developed and deployed the bioweapon: the Chinese, the UNC virologists, that nasty French dude who started Moderna, the venal evil mad scientists at Pfizer, and the anchorman, Anthony Fauci. Among others.

You will recall the incredible rushed panic fomented by the CCP and our media at the outset. I remember seeing amateurish news video from China showing a mob of people running panicked down a city street, then, as if on cue, dropping like flies from Covid. Give me a break. The deployment of the bioweapon in 2020 in retrospect was so fast, so hyped and so ridiculous that it should have triggered everyone's shit detectors. But it did not.

So now with the great benefit of retrospection, we need to focus on exactly what happened:

A bioweapon was engineered from already contagious respiratory virus of the Coronaviridae family.

It was specifically engineered by inserting a specific segment into its genome, causing the virus to attach more avidly to lung cells' so-called angiotensin converting enzyme-2 (ACE-2) receptor and activate a pro-inflammation cascade leading to ARDS and death.

The purpose was to render a marginally-deadly respiratory virus, into a very deadly bioweapon.

How on earth approval and funding was ever granted for this bioweapon development is still mysterious but as it comes into focus with time, it all appears to be an op of the CCP, NWO, and our Deep State, with the disappointing help of dweeby, resentful misanthropic sociopathic scientists, greedy businessmen, and assorted Karens.

The development and deployment of these sorts of bioweapons has been clearly banned by international conventions (Biological Weapons Convention of March 26, 1975) and corresponding federal laws (18 U.S. Code § 175).

The researchers doing this bioweapon development appeared to know of the illegal nature of their work because they diverted their work to Wuhan, China, after such 'research' was banned during the Obama administration because of its 'risk'.

No prosecutor or plaintiff's attorney in any jurisdiction, to my knowledge, is making any move to charge or sue these conspirators in this undertaking.

This is mysterious considering the gravity of creating mass antihuman bioweapons, let alone the treasonous aspect of arming the CCP with potent bioweapons.

In fact, funding for this bioweapon research and deployment continues with the NIH proceeding as if nothing bad happened as a result of their nitwit Covid research.

Justice won't happen until most people understand what has happened, who did it, how much death, mayhem, destruction, and poverty ensued, and how great the penalties are for such clear violations of US and international laws. People need to start understand what happened and then get extremely angry about it.
