Marxism originally viewed society as either oppressors or oppressed based on economics. The poor were in their condition because they were oppressed by the rich. That did not work well in free societies because there was class mobility.

The folks at the marxist Frankfurt School decided to expand their methods to divide society by using "cultural" targets. They came up with ways to use race, gay/straight, gender identity and energy use.

When you hear about a British man getting two years in prison for having a bumper sticker that says "It is OK to be White" while in the same country a muslim man rapes a 12 year old girl and gets no jail time....that is the implementation of Cultural Marxism.
