This thread and others here on FR kept me sane and grounded. Wasn’t an expert but read enough here to formulate my thoughts. I only masked when I had to and on the whole hated it and eventually rejected the vax outright. I never got covid until the beginning of this year. It lasted 2 weeks for me and made me feel weak and a bit of a cough. No fever. Remained on my medications per my doctor and isolated until I tested negative which was exactly 2 weeks after I felt the first symptoms. It wasn’t severe for me. I’ve had worse flus in my life. During my time with it I rested in bed and Freeped.
One thing I should have highlighted in the CDC report is that the isolation that was recommended for those was Covid was lowered from two weeks to 24 hours after fever subsides - the same period recommended for the flu. So many lost their mind “protecting” others by isolating for weeks, which wound up doing as much to protect others as Jim Kerry attending a climate conference does to save the planet (nothing).
