A physically healthy 28-year-old Dutch woman has decided to legally end her life due to her struggles with crippling depression, autism and borderline personality disorder, according to a report.
Zoraya ter Beek, who lives in a small village in the Netherlands near the German border, is scheduled to be euthanized in May — despite being in love with her 40-year-old boyfriend and living with two cats.
Ter Beek, who once aspired to be a psychiatrist, has been dealing with mental health struggles throughout her life.

I sincerely believe that people need to go through hardships in order to appreciate life.
These days, nobody has to work, everybody has unlimited leisure time, and thus lose the purpose of living.
It’s everyone’s right to take their own life. It’s hard to understand why any doctor would be a part of it-Hippocratic oath.

They told her it will never get better. Talk about dishing out an extra helping of despair.
Seems like a perfect liberal. Decided death is the only way to cure being crazy.
If this was in the USA she could at least continue to vote.
Kidding aside, she should line up donating her organs to the needy.
She takes one drug to kill herself when with the right counseling she could have taken 2 or 3 drugs and some other interventions to have a reasonable life. Let’s hear for what physiatry has become.
Indeed. The power of suggestion should never be forgotten. What if they had told her she’d be better very soon?

She is in no mental state to make such a decision.
As an engineering student I had to take non-technical courses, so I picked psychiatry. My, God! What a bunch of screwed-up people.
I think she has a serious problem, the same one that is spreading throughout the world of those who call themselves civilized, his problem is the lack of God in his life and the lack of interest in seeking Him and that is not all, also what is the purpose of God in our lives
She should hold on till the November election, not kidding. Things will get a lot better if Trump wins. There’s a lot of things going on right now that I can understand are very depressing, but in the end evil will not triumph.
