Fifty women have been randomly attacked by strangers so far this year in the lower half of Manhattan, an NYPD official said.
“The trend that I’m getting from the people that we’re arresting, the majority of them are homeless, the majority of them seem like they need some kind of help with mental illness,” Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at One Police Plaza Tuesday.
Most of the attacks don’t appear to be copycats and cops don’t consider them a trend, Kenny said.

Women? Isn’t this a sexist statistic? It should merely say “people attacked” according to modern usage. Equality and all of that. Gender is purely a social construct from what I’ve read.

My local paper has an article claiming that the prosecutors in Trump’s “hush money” case are going to question Trump about these attacks. If true, I can only say that this is further evidence that they are utterly corrupt. There is NO evidence whatsoever that these attacks are motivated by anything Trump has said or done. EVERY clip I’ve seen of these attacks shows the perp as a black male, and their influences are rap and hip-hop music, CRT-fueled resentment, and their shabby upbringing. This is yet another attempt to smear Trump.
