Are Taylor Swifts lyrics full of “explicit” content?
It’s one thing to drop a bunch of F-bombs….but are they also flat-out Demonic and Blasphemous?
Many people say yes, including Sean Feucht, who posted this which is what originally caught my attention:

Watching Christians praise this new album of promiscuity & perversion while simultaneously rebuking Biden for allowing men in women’s locker rooms is peak American fake morality in 2024.
Are your kids listening to Taylor Swift?
Are you ok with them listening to all this EXPLICIT language?
But as I said, that’s one thing. They’re going to hear bad language in this world. But are you ok with them hearing outright Demonic and Blasphemous lyrics and singing (chanting?) them over and over, almost as if casting a spell?
That’s a whole other thing!
Take a look at this second post from Sean Feucht:

Watching Christians praise this new album of promiscuity & perversion while simultaneously rebuking Biden for allowing men in women’s locker rooms is peak American fake morality in 2024. Sean Feucht @seanfeucht Almost half the songs on Taylor Swift’s new album contain explicit lyrics, make fun of Christians and straight up blaspheme God.
Is this the music you want your kids listening to?
Do you think I’m overreacting?
Read the lyrics below and decide for yourself:
🎤Guilty as Sin What if I roll the stone away? They're gonna crucify me anyway What if the way you hold me is actually what's holy? If long-suffering propriety is what they want from me They don't know how you've haunted me so stunningly I choose you and me religiously
Another song:
🎤The smallest man who ever lived I would've died for your sins, instead, I just died inside
Another song:
🎤 But daddy I love him I just learned these people only raise you To cage you Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best Clutchin' their pearls, sighing, "What a mess" I just learned these people try and save you 'Cause they hate you
Another song:
🎤 God save the most judgmental creeps Who say they want what's best for me Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see Thinkin' it can change the beat Of my heart when he touches me And counteract the chemistry And undo the destiny You ain't gotta pray for me Me and my wild boy and all of this wild joy If all you want is gray for me Then it's just white noise, and it's just my choice

I’ve heard if you stream her songs backward the lyrics praise either Satan or Justin Bieber, can’t remember which.
My men’s group is studying a book on spiritual warfare right now.
In one chapter the author poses the question “if it’s not God inspired, what IS the inspiration?”
I think this is a great example of that......I’ve seen enough if her videos to understand where the inspiration lies.......and more importantly, where it doesn’t.
She’s a puke-—never liked her,(and she’s a local kid to my area).
She originally projected a persona of the quintessential All-American girl-next-door......................
Our favorite part is the bridge. Swift and Welch trade lines and layer their voices in a way that departs from the song's dark tone:
"I need to forget so take me to Florida/I got some regrets I'll bury them in Florida/tell me I'm despicable say it's unforgivable/what a crash what a rush f*** me up Florida."
Attacking Florida. And in other poems attacking Jesus Christ. These people are f'n sick and totally anti-Christian. Keep them away from children.
I’m not that familiar with the popular music these days. I have occasionally heard some of it. It seems like inserting the F bomb is now virtually a requirement today, based a song I heard by one of the most popular female artists. I think it may have been Olivia Rodrigo.
She is an evil dog and proves Americans who follow her are lost souls and without Christ...
Debasing the language debases the society.................
wow so harsh, imagine if she comes out and support biden.
personally, i don’t care, my music taste is stuck in the 80’s
I remember when "f-bombs" were considered "obscenity."
Not that I don't use them myself a bit too much, by way of confession. Just observing the Big Slippery Slope in action.
I was done with Taylor Swift when she played War Pigs and then bit the head off of that bat.
So did Miley Cyrus....that’s how they endear themselves to the teenyboper crowd and especially their parents......then when they’re independently wealthy can show their true selves.......and anyone on this thread that thinks this is a joke needs to wake the hell up.
Never been ok with her. I don’t see any talent.
Years ago, I left a church where the wife of the Youth Pastor took her daughter + friends to concerts including Madonna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Later, he DJ’d the local high school prom and played explicit versions of several songs including (Flo Rida) “Low.”
Reality can be harsh.....you turn a blind eye to and dismiss this type of anti Christian movement at your own peril.
You really think Christians will be exempt from what’s happening to Jews right now?......it’s just a matter of time.
“Shake It Off” *SMIRK*
Makes no sense to me.
Opinions will vary, I suppose, about whether Swift’s lyrics are Demonic and Blasphemous. I just find them to be crap quality from a standpoint of composition and pretty much everything else. They come across as “bitching” from a “trailer trash” 15 y/o who got “D’s” in English — and that’s before any “crude” or whatever references.
(No I’m NOT damning everyone living in a trailer! I’ve met fine such people on occasion.)
