I want a national fingerprint system. Think of how many crimes it would solve. Everyone, not just criminals, and beginning with the employees of CBS, will report to their local police station to have their fingerprints taken. Now. Go. Why would you oppose it? Are you a criminal? It's for the children.

They're not talking about taking your finger prints.
Ballistic Fingerprinting s where they take a fired slug and a used casing from the weapon.
Which is stupid. First, try and get a criminal to bring in his weapon to do this. Second you can replace the fireing pin and barrel anytime, so much for ballistics.

Hey and while you're at it. Take DNA samples from everyone, at gunpoint if necessary maybe just get over it with with free housing and stuff (three hots and a cot, yeah, that's the ticket); after all - it's for the children. NOT!
