I don't think these companies are stupid at all because their government contracts make a lot more gravy for them than a few hundred thousand individuals. In the case at hand, Glock, these speculations would apply only if true. And if such allegations were true, would I say that they are unethical, untrustworthy and undeserving of American citizen's business? Yes - definitely.
And if not? I'd still keep a weather-eye cocked on them.
