Trump is a liberal, establishment Crony capitalist loudmouth circus barker.

Ann appreciates that. I mean, she dated Bill Maher right...

Trump would be a very easy call over Jeb.

“The people want him to be president”

Filed under *how to be led around by the nose by the deceptive machinations of liberal pollsters*.

16% of 400 or so handpicked "Republicans" more than a year out from an election does not a national mandate make.

Trump is out there deflecting for Cruz. He’s catching the heat while Cruz covers his six.

Well it sells books. Even if they are a history of FR posts.

You're right. Coulter is a publicity whore. She is for whatever will sell her latest book. Her presidential endorsements are certainly nothing to be taken seriously.

Think about it. Mitt Romney? Who here supported Mitt?

Chris Christie? Need I say more?

And now lifelong liberal Donald Trump.

At least she is consistent. That's more than we can say about some of the posters here.

"While I appreciate him forcing the border issue into the light he’s still a scorpion and will eventually sting whoever holds him."

Agreed.

I've never been reluctant to admit I'm not a Glenn Beck fan, but I was doing a little researching earlier, and I hit upon this article by Stu Burguiere. He pegged Trump accurately and thoroughly.

All The Reasons You Should Not Vote For Donald Trump

Nice link. It’s what we have been saying here for weeks. The man is a lifelong liberal. There is no reason to support a liberal Republican in the primary. None.

Trump is a rare man with a backbone in an age of either spineless jellyfish or cold, hard liberal tyrants. Fortunately he is not the only strong voice. Cruz is too but he is far more trustworthy on other issues.

Trump has every right to run and rain on other people’s parade. That’s our system. I am not supporting him.

I no longer see Ann as a true conservative. She is a packaged conservative — that is, she is selling a product and will go where she thinks she can get the most attention/payoff. She likes drama, controversy, and cash.

I enjoy the drama of Trump and the way he is bravely pushing certain issues. That is a far cry from thinking he is the right man to represent the GOP, let alone to be President.

The crazy thing is, The criticism of conservatives toward liberals is that they are “socialists.” This year they are out in the open running a socialist, and those still not openly embracing the label are just the same embracing the ideology more openly.

The criticism of liberals toward conservatives is that they care only about big business and the rich. So here we have, of all people, Donald “big business” Trump as a front runner.

Both sides are foolish to think these are smart moves. I think Zero prepared the way for this by being such a hardcore liberal ideologue. He is doing more for liberalism than anyone in their wildest dreams could have imagined. So he has opened the door for a new, ideology out of the closet phase. In a way that is good. The marriage of politics and deception needs to end in divorce. But the bad thing is, some of the people have developed a taste for radicalism and tyranny. Will it be a majority? Time will tell.

At least he was being truthful, and while I disagree with him on many things I find his honesty refreshing. I could hold my nose and vote for him over Jeb or Hillary.

Electoral schizophrenia.

I’m not a big fan of Frank Luntz but his focus groups can be interesting. This week on FOX they had a group of New Yorkers on and everybody loved Trump but nearly as many would vote for someone else. Even scarier was the fact that those who seemed to like Trump the most were more likely to vote for someone like Bloomberg.

I want an even keel which is why I think Cruz/Walker may be our best bet. Cruz is an easy win in the south with solid tea party support in the north. Its also important to understand that a lot of Trump fans are Cruz supporters. Walker leads Detroit news polling of Michigan republicans. They are the moderate pro business republicans in Oakland county, Grand Rapids, and Traverse city.

It will be either Trump or Hilliary in the WH in 2016.

If Hilliary wins it will be because of those who won’t support the only Republican running who is actually addressing the issues that determine the future health or destruction of our country. They will give us President Hillary Clinton.

Was he? Maybe. Likely actually considering backhanding conservatives is what he has done his whole life. He was being a liberal doing it. No different than Jeb or Mitt or the rest.

If Trump’s history is an indicator of our future, we are no better off with him than Hillary, a woman he donated big bucks to that she in turn, used against us.

“Mitt Romney? Who here supported Mitt?”

Quite a number actually. I know that to be true as I was told regularly, as were evil purists like me, that “If you don’t vote for Mitt Romney you hate America and love Obama.”

If someone tells you that you hate your own country if you don’t elect a flaming liberal to the presidency, I’d call that support.

In fact, several Freepers continue to use that line in defense of their votes for that liberal.

I know. My point was that the leftists here supported Mitt. And many here who condemned those leftists are now supporting Donald who is every bit as reprehensible as was Mitt.

I know this to be true. I witnessed the condemnation of the Mitt supporters by many of the same posters who are supporting Mitt II, aka Donald Trump.

“I’m not ready to jump on that bandwagon just yet.”

Cruz still is tops with me when I get in the booth...but at this point, I’ll point I’ll push Trump, as he’s clearing the field for Cruz.

Rubio, right now, may not even make it into the first debate. If that winds up being the case, we all need to thank Trump.
