Trump told several jokes at first so that crowd was relaxed and unsuspecting, then Boom! he brought the hammer down on the whole crowd of glitterati! There was a sudden and noticeable change in tenor and intent. He was in New York, but suddenly he was speaking to and for the American people.

Bill OReilly spun it as being an unmitigated disaster... I took what he said with a sack of rock salt.I quit watching BO'R. He is an unmitigated pompous @$$.
I did watch them at the Al Smith Gala. I thought Mr Trump did very well. Even Hitlery was not too bad, considering the lies and all...
