Because it wasn’t about himself. He’s all about getting the attention.
The media treat Cuban like he’s some sort of financial guru. He was a salesman that took his ideas from his employer and started his own gig. He sold his company to Yahoo before the tech bubble burst and got a crazy amount of money for it. Since then, he’s not done much of anything to increase his wealth. Therefore, I don’t consider him to be a financial guru. He’s a one trick pony that hit it lucky and big when he was younger.

I agree with you. I hate to say it because we are always labeled dumb but I’ve heard him many times and he’s just not anything close to a mental giant. And that’s being generous.
