Green Party presidential nominee Jill Steins attempts to recount the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are now over.
Although Stein only secured a complete recount in Wisconsin, she is claiming to have won a victory for voters by exposing weaknesses in the voting system.
In fact, Steins greatest service may have been to validate the Wisconsin results ― and thus demonstrate that voting irregularities did not tip the election in Donald Trumps favor.
Id like to think that the public appreciates that as a result of the examinations that occurred, that the results were not corrupted in any way to create inaccurate results, said Ned Foley, an election law expert at Ohio State Universitys Moritz College of Law. The Wisconsin recount demonstrates that.
Wisconsin completed a 10-day recount financed by the Stein campaign on Monday, resulting in an increase in Trumps lead over Hillary Clinton from 22,617 to 22,748 votes.
For a state with a 20,000-vote margin to generate a change of 100 votes as a result of a recount is consistent with standard recount procedure, Foley said.
By contrast, Michigan never completed its recount and Pennsylvania never even began one. The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday declined to hear the Stein campaigns appeal of a lower court order halting the recount, permanently ending hopes for a statewide recount there.
And on Monday, a federal judge also denied Steins request for a statewide recount and an investigation of vote tampering in Pennsylvania....

A giant waste of money for nothing
It did point out voter fraud in the city of Detroit.
Think of how many chillllllldren could gave been fed with that dough. How many teeeeeeeeachers could gave been paid.
Or flint water supply infrastructure paid for with the millions of Michigan tax payer dollars Jill’s recount effort wasted.
Didn’t this expose the fraudulent voting in Detroit?
“demonstrate that voting irregularities did not tip the election in Donald Trumps favor.”
Musta killed Huffpo to print that.
It helped to further expose the pathetic desperation of the left and made it clear that it’s power that they want, not the will of the people.
Actually, in my opinion it accomplished quite a bit by exposing potentially massive voter fraud in Detroit, which will now be audited.
Recounts would have to include:
1. Checking that no ID was used more than once
2. Checking that no ID was used in another state that also requires ID for registration and voting
3. Checking that no ID is associated with a dead person or any person that is ineligible to vote, e.g. felon, underage, etc.
Whether or not the machines are working, if you can't keep track of ID's then all you're doing is checking that the machines are either consistently counting correctly or consistently counting incorrectly.
You can't even verify whether or not the machines have been hacked via a recount.
This is another issue that the MSM has overblown and incorrectly explained to the American People.
Ha! That song still kicks @ss.
YES! The dumb twit. Blew her feet off.
Actually, it showed the vote in Detroit was totally fraudulent in favor of Hillary.
Isn’t this just the greatest example of the liberal way? Waste a lot of other people’s money and accomplish nothing!
>Checking that no ID was used more than once
It is sad that at every major sporting event they scan the ticket to check that no ticket was used more than once!
I would support a law that requires the same id process to vote as require to purchase a gun.
Exposed the mother lode of fraud in Detroit.
However, Stein seems to have no interest in following up on RAT fraud.
THIS story did not want to write about that inconvenient little discovery .... I wonder why. /s
I was shocked and delighted to find out that Classic Rewind on Sirius XM plays the full song. The ‘80s on 8 wimps out and cuts the “little faggot” verse.
