Compromise with the Left doesn’t work. They just take a little now, and come back for more, later. They never give anything up in those ‘compromises.’
Well, now, we are pushing back and they’re screaming. We are going to take some things back, if it is over their dead bodies, well, fine.
We live in a suburb of Seattle. My best friend of 22 years ditched us all after the election because I voted for Trump. She would have forgiven my husband, but not me. Funny ... she’s a lawyer but one of the most uneducated people I have ever met ... she gets her news from Colbert.
Our kids went to preschool together. Her kids are typical millenials ... one living at home and going to private online grad school (???), and the other about to move home to go to grad school. Mine? One has been married for almost two years, and the other is graduating from grad school (MIT) and will be starting his six-figure job in July.
You’d think she’d think that maybe we did something right that she messed up.
