CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - President Trump tweeted an endorsement for Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike DeWine, and said his opponent Richard Cordray was a "big failure."
(TWEET-AT-LINK)
Attorney General DeWine beat Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor to win the Republican nomination in Tuesday's primary election by nearly 20 percent.
"Each child deserves that opportunity, to live their version of the American dream. That is what this election is all about," said DeWine Tuesday night.
On the other side of the aisle, Cordray won the Democratic nod. He formerly served as the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He easily defeated former U.S. Representative and Cleveland Mayor Dennis Kucinich by nearly 40 percentage points.
"Here is what we promise: We will help our homegrown businesses now and create jobs in our communities, and we will say 'yes' to progressive polices," said Cordray during his victory speech.
What did I miss, is Kasich term limited? Maybe he can go back to FOX and do a show with Shep.
You owe me a new keyboard!
DeWine has to get on the side of the citizens and the rule of law if he wants to win.
Representing fraudulently documented foreigners only works for Democrats.
CFPB=Commie/Facist Plunder Barons.
Tijuana already has shows like that.

I ‘love’ it when the elitists refer to something as a ‘dog and pony show’ then watch the expression on their face as they are told (in detail) just what a Tijuana or Olongapo version of a dog and pony show is.
Oh yes, some people just THINK they are smoking a cigarette.(IF you know, you know)
“Interspecies erotica” per Clerks II.
Wish Trump had tweeted about the 3 Republican Senate nominees from last night.
If I recall, he did recommended Renacci (sp?) a couple weeks back or so.
Kasich may be better served with appearances on The Food Network.
1. Against gerrymandering. The Congressional Districts (and districts for State and County offices, too) are crazy in OH. It leaves a lot of us for all practical purposes unrepresented (an advanced degree in Geography should go to anyone who figures out how to connect the east side of Cleveland to Akron by going through this and a few other small towns). Over 80% of the voters approved of a measure for fair districts.
Republican Gov nomination: DeWine vs Mary Taylor. Voters don't like hypocrisy. Taylor. Kasick's LtGov, never had a negative thing to say against Kasick. She licked Kasick's boots, not even endorsing Trump against hillary. Yet she campaigned as being more Trump than Trump. Add to that, her family makes lots of gov money from their Construction business. DeWine's a basically decent guy who didn't run any more negative than he had to against her very mean ads.
Dem gov nomination: Cordray vs Kucinich. Kucinich might've won if he hadn't ignored his issues.....fair trade, living wages for workers, and peace and national identity for the Mideast and Eastern Europe. Instead, he went to crazy-land with identity politics and fringe social issues. Cordray embraced the issue of Consumer Rights, and has the resume to support it.
Republican US Senate: Rannuci. I wonder if Sherrod Brown could lose. In the US Senate, he hasn't been a voice for his issues....more manufacturing jobs and world peace. Ranucci's a smart guy, personable, and knows finance. Wasted gov money (all levels) is a big issue in OH.
That's my take, anyway. Who'll win? Whomever is passionate and sincere about their issues. JMHO
Great to hear. Wonder if he is as familiar with key senate races as he may have with his goal of getting to 270 in 2018.
But after each key primary I hope he tweets about the winners.
