Let the games begin and watch the slim House majority slip away in 2020 as moderates who voted for legislative action and not investigations vote for Trump candidates next time. The more I think about it, I think Trump isn’t too disappointed with this as it can only help him and his movement.
They can request all they want.
Not being legal or possible won’t stop the Dems from trying. It will just be one of a continuous stream of attempts to smear and tarnish Trump with the MSM joining in and magnifying it all 24/7.

They think there’s some secret in his tax returns. There isn’t.
They’re going to look at two things, his actual tax rate and his charitable giving, so they can compare it to democrats. This is why the Clintons released their tax returns with their 32% tax rate (they intentionally paid extra taxes or didn’t take credits to hike this up) and high charitable giving (which mostly went back into the Clinton Foundation, so they got a twofer).
And any large tax breaks Trump took way back were written into law by democrat congresses.
So go for it, democrats. You’ll get nothing but headlines and talking points.
President Trump should fight it all the way to SCOTUS. They will decide. In 2 or 3 years...Maybe.

The Democrats can request all they want to, and apparently that is going to be a lot. Trump is under no compulsion to comply, so what are they going to do to him if he does not?
Impeachment may be an option, but “High Crimes and Misdemeanors? An undefined and indefinite phrase at best, it would be a pretty hard case to make even with the most possessed of prosecutors.

Everyone knows that Trump won’t surrender his tax returns.
The Dems are over-exposed as over-playing their hand especially after the Kavanaugh hearings and the Mueller witch hunt.
The problem for the Dems is that this doesn’t change the narrative. We all have heard from the Dems and the fake news media that Trump is a corrupt fascist dictator. So, what’s new? Even if the fake news actually found something, only the Dem supporters would believe it.
