What I was trying to ask is How the process of them trying to impeach Kavanaugh would even work?
I have never seen the Houses try to impeacu a sitting Supreme Court Justice.
Under the Constitution, they can use procedures similar to impeaching a President. It is all part of checks and balances. The Senate would never convict either Kavanaugh or Trump. If the Dems in the House are stupid enough to try it, they would reap devastating political consequences. I doubt the Dems have the votes in the House to pull it off. Those members who won close races won’t want to face the voters having voted for impeachment.
