Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell claimed that she is aware of Senate Republicans who are willing to back impeachment of President Trump if it becomes clear that he tried to use foreign aid as "leverage."
In a July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump discussed both the aid the United States provides to Ukraine, while also requesting he look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. The transcript of the phone call in question was released by the White House on Wednesday.
In an interview on CNN shortly after, Mucarsel-Powell stated, "I do think, and I have heard from some of my colleagues, that they have been speaking with their senators who are Republican senators, that this definitely changes the calculus for them."

Every Repukes Senator who is up for election in 2020 needs to have a primary challenger pushing them to the right...if we can’t see that we will lose a great President. The Repukes will turn If the people don’t hold them accountable
Democrats have been telling these big lies for the last two years.
We need a new law that says when they lie they have to put a thousand dollars in the liars jar.

They’re running out of Republican traitors. Arlen Specter is dead. John McCain is dead. Jeff Flake is gone. Bob Corker is gone. Johnny Isaacson will be gone. Ben Sasse wants to get reelected. Mitch McConnell wants to get reelected. John Cornyn wants to get reelected. Joni Ernst wants to get reelected.
They’ll have Mitt Romney, Mike Lee, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins (but she wants to get reelected), and Lamar Alexander (retiring). Maybe add Mike Enzi (retiring) and possibly Tim Scott (who likes to virtue signal). I don’t think Rubio would vote to remove.
