GQ magazine was severely mocked for publishing an opinion piece that incorrectly said former Alabama segregationist governor George Wallace was a Republican.
The op-ed, penned by Laura Bassett, described Wallace, a former presidential candidate, as a Republican who backed abortion so there would be fewer children for the government to support.
Just one catch: Wallace was a Democrat.

Helms was a Democrat for half his life. If he was a segregationist, it was when he was still a Democrat.
And, for his last terms in the US Senate, so was Strom Thurmond (SC - R). He was an FDR Democrat and was an officer in the 82nd at Normandy. In 1948 he ran for US President against Harry Truman on the Dixiecrat Ticket. In 1952 he endorsed Eisenhower over Adlai Stevenson but was elected SC Governor (1946-50) as a Democrat. He won a write-in election to the US Senate as a Democrat NOT endorsed by the SC Democrat Party in 1954. He switched to GOP in 1964 because of antagonism to the newly passed 1964 Civil Rights Act and because he favored Goldwater. He remained so until his death in 2003 at age 100.

As I understand it, all Matthews did was comment on how attractive she was. Albeit, it was in a work setting.
How is the human race even going to to continue if a guy can’t even begin to flirt with a girl?

Most "Historians" who have the knowledge of a typical trash Wikipedia article constantly put Hitler and Mussolini on the "right". Thus,Republicans are constantly referred to as Hitler and Fascist and the scum SOCIALIST left couldn't explain the difference between the two and contrast with Communism.

Al Gore Sr, the Democrat Senator from TN was a proud Segregationist.
J. William Fulbright, the Democrat Senator from AR who was said to be Bill Clinton’s Mentor was a proud Segregationist.

Wallace was quoted in his latter years about Alabama, “The state is slowly going Republican because of Clinton being so liberal.” Now, Alabama is a very red state except for Doug Jones who is going to lose to Tommy Tuberville (R) in November.
Jesse Helms was not a Democrat. You’re making some blunders today that lead me to believe you’re one, though.
Wonder if Laura gets to keep her job.
