I don’t blame them.

900,000 acres of Oregon are on fire and 500,000 Oregon residents have had to evacuate their homes.

Or...don’t arrest BLM/antifa terrorists for blocking roads (in a communist insurrection), but arrest John Q Citizen for blocking roads (to uphold safety and rule of law).

+1 Excellent comment.

The two-tier system of justice seems to be firmly entrenched however because law abiding people don’t assert themselves. That has to change. We can no longer afford to be passive while our rights are being trampled by corrupt officials.

Because it was put out before it became a "big" one.

Sorta like the protests that are "peaceful" until they're not.

It's called anarcho-tyranny.

Samuel Francis coined "anarcho-tyranny" to describe an armed dictatorship without rule of law, or a Hegelian synthesis when the state tyrannically or oppressively regulates citizens' lives yet is unable to enforce fundamental protective law.

A state government exists in Oregon, so it is not really an anarchy, but the state has given free rein to a mob. Oregon's anarcho-tyranny only exercises its power when its erstwhile law-abiding subjects resist the mob or refuse to submit to state oppression.

Chaos, riot, and lawlessness are antithetical to a free republic. In many ways, Oregon is a failed state like Afghanistan or Haiti. Under the Constitution, the United States guarantees a republican form of government in every state. Oregon fails that test.

Just say it's a Burn Loot & Murder riot.

Law enforcement doesn't seem to mind when they stop traffic.

" We told people engaging in this behavior that roadways are open to all users, and their actions are illegal and they could be subject to citation or arrest.”"

Classic example of a tone-deaf bureaucrat...

IMHO, after the election when the real bloodbath begins, these government bureaucrats will all side with the communists against non-communist Americans...

You can rest assured that agencies like the FBI, ATF, DHS, DEA, EPA, CIA, NSA, etc, have been working overtime making sure that SWAT and sniper skills are perfected...

Every non-communist American is viewed as a "Bundy or Bundy supporter" who has not learned the appropriate lesson...

In Multnomah, they arrested an arsonist, then the DA kicked him. He then set seven more fires.

My answer to that deputy is that if the DA won’t do his job, we have to do it for him. Arrest the DA first, then come pick us up. We’ll go quietly, happily.

It’s not a roadblock. It’s just a peaceful protest against arson. Oh, and racism and stuff.

Rural conservatives put up roadblocks to stop Antifa arsonists, the state punishes them.

Antifa arsonists illegally block roads and set fires, no one stops them.

Thanks for the explanation. It fits Oregon and Washington perfectly.

"We told people engaging in this behavior that roadways are open to all users, and their actions are illegal and they could be subject to citation or arrest.”

But intentionally burning up the countryside is perfectly fine according to Oregon's finest.

Sheriff near Woodland Park CO tried this year’s ago after a Forest Service worker set 200,000 acre fire because her boyfriend left her.

16 neighbors met the sheriff deputies with shotguns.

Luckily the deputies weren’t stupid, they got the hell out of the neighborhood. The homeowners saved their own homes as the fire department wasn’t allowed in.

Yep! When the grandchildren tease me about hanging onto the old M1 Garand when we have so much other firepower, I tell them that old people like me will have to fight from 500-600 yards... So always practice accordingly...

“You can’t make this sh!t up” Happens every day in Portland.

This sheriff is the same one that claims to have marched with BLM.

Portland voted for this.
