Little Press Coverage of Muslim
Hatred of Jews, Arab Hatred of Arabs

Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir accused Jews of controlling the world. The Lebanese Parliament denied Palestinians the right to own land in The Lebanon. The Saudi government quashed a protest by its own citizens who were seeking political reforms. One would think these would be front-page headlines, but were either completely ignored or buried. These stories were not even mentioned on the ABC, NBC, or CBS evening news broadcasts. It seems the American mass media has an agenda that seeks to selectively provide U.S. citizens with information about the Arab/Muslim world.

Speaking before the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the largest meeting of Islamic leaders in three years, Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir said:

The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them.

We are up against a people who think. They survived 2000 years of pogroms not by hitting back but by thinking. They invented Socialism, Communism, human rights and democracy so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong, so that they can enjoy equal rights with others.

With these they have now gained control of the most powerful countries and they, this tiny community, have become a world power.

1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews. There must be a way.

Mahathir's racist remarks were buried on page A21 of the October 17 issue of the Washington Post. The New York Times similarly hid the story in its International Section, giving it merely 3 short paragraphs.

While Western nations condemned Mahathir's statement, officials from the Arab/Muslim world supported him. The Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qurbi said he supported Mahathir's words "100 percent:"

The prime minister outlined a very important issue that the Israelis and the Jews control most of the economy and the media in the world.

The Lebanese Parliament has killed legislation which would have permitted Palestinians to acquire property in Lebanon, according to Aljazeera. Even Aljazeera noted that the Lebanese action prompted "accusations of racism and discrimination." It is interesting that while many in the Arab world throw accusations around that Israel is an "Apartheid" of "Nazi" state, they never mention incidents like Kuwait's ethnic cleansing (expulsion) of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees after the Gulf war in 1991.

Saudi authorities arrested 150 of their own citizens this week. Their crime was to hold a peaceful demonstration asking the Saudi government for political reform and basic human rights. Dismissing the protestors, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz said:

They are a small bunch ... this won't happen again.

Grand Mufti Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah Al al-Sheik, the Saudi Kingdom's highest religious authority, responded to the protest with a racist comment:

Demonstrations are the behaviour of non-Muslims. [The protestors'] demands must be made through proper ways.

The problem is, "opposition of any kind is banned" in Saudi Arabia. "Continuing restrictions on basic rights in Saudi Arabia are no secret," according to Human Rights Watch (HRW). Regarding Saudi women's issues, HRW paints a horrid picture:

In Saudi Arabia in March, at least 14 girls may have died unnecessarily in a school fire because of extreme interpretations of the Islamic dress code. Members of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice interfered with rescue efforts because the fleeing students were not wearing the obligatory public attire (long black cloaks and head coverings) for Saudi girls and women. Also in Saudi Arabia, women's testimonies in court are equal to half those of a man.

Saudi women are not allowed to drive cars, are required to fully cover themselves in burkas while in public, are prohibited from becoming lawyers or engineers, and can't vote (no one can in Saudi Arabia).

One would think that these issues would be important, especially to the ranks of the politically correct. Apparently, these issues are not newsworthy.

Thanks for the post. It seems Army Lt. Gen. William Boykin
is getting more coverage for what he said than the entire history of hatred by Muslims.

Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir is an evil dictator and is in need of regime change. He threw his Sec. of the Treasury into prison on trumpted up false charges of being a homosexual. The media has not followed the story.
