[history]
In a June 6 speech about Medicare, President Bush said, "We must protect seniors from high medical costs that can rob them of their savings." And with the recently passed Medicare bill, which adds a prescription drug benefit to the government's health insurance program for seniors, the president claims to have done just that.

Hey look. There's only two explanations. They are either retarded ignoramuses or deliberate liars.

I'm going with Explanation #3-both.

The goal is to make the concept of "lying" meaningless. MoveOn is filth in motion.
In short, with The Daily Mislead, MoveOn has become the leader of a new school of liberal criticism that seeks to brand every policy disagreement with President Bush as a broken promise or lie. These loose accusations trivialize charges of dishonesty, reducing them to little more than another partisan spin tactic.

The goal is to make the concept of "lying" meaningless. While that may be one reason, I think the goal of all the accusations against President Bush of lying is to boost Clinton's legacy. Every time Clinton was caught in a scandal, the explanations went from denial to "everyone does it." In order to minimize Clinton's lies and perjury, Bush must be a liar, too.
That's the real reason why the "L-word" is being so cavalierly tossed about.

LOL. The Wall Street Journal is wasting time disputing an e-mail by MoveOn.org. Do they have any clue whatsoever that using their unique prestige to dignify this low-rent band of misfits just elevates their stature? Pathetic editorial call. The way you sideline an organization like this is refer to them infrequently and when you do, dismiss them as a band of lunatics, communists, malcontents, and ignoramuses.

Hey MoveOn! The Governor of California is being needlessly occupied by some stupid groping charge thats 20 years old. Why don't you help him? Its ONLY ABOUT SEX!

I'm surprised that MoveOn.Org missed the BIG LIE that Bush told when he was recently asked what kind of sandwich he was eating and answered "roast beef." A LIE!!! The fact is that sandwich also had pickles, lettuce, and tomato. ANOTHER pathetic attempt by George Bush to lie and mislead us.

You're right. Very insightful:
While that may be one reason, I think the goal of all the accusations against President Bush of lying is to boost Clinton's legacy. Every time Clinton was caught in a scandal, the explanations went from denial to "everyone does it." In order to minimize Clinton's lies and perjury, Bush must be a liar, too.
