"...if the state Supreme Court backs the Bar's ethics complaint."

Hahahaha, the Florida Supreme Court thinks it's a legislative body. They'll just pass another "law" to let Boies off. Lewis will have to do the same thing Bush did.

I remember when Boies was touted as the nearest thing to Perry Mason there was. He was going to stride into the Supreme Court and show the world how law was supposed to be practiced.

Then I listened over the next week as he got bitchslapped all around the courtroom.

It was hilarious, especially with the liberal build-up.

HOTSHOT lawyer David Boies

Bwaa ha ha! The guy that owns the gardening firm has been representing himself, and he's held David Boies at bay for 7 years. Now he's got Boies up on ethics charges.

Al Gore shoulda hired the gardener instead.

Boies seems pretty "friendly" with this woman. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Edward H. Wohl - his co-counsel in jewelry heir Bruce Winston's long legal feud with brother Ronald Winston - was suspended for 90 days earlier this year. Wohl had violated the law by paying off a witness.

Buying a witness gets only a suspension?

The latest upset for Boies comes after Edward H. Wohl - his co-counsel in jewelry heir Bruce Winston's long legal feud with brother Ronald Winston - was suspended for 90 days earlier this year. Wohl had violated the law by paying off a witness.

Huh? 90 days suspension?

WTF?

James Fox Miller, a former Florida Bar president who Boies has designated to be his spokesman on the flap, says he can't understand why the Bar is making such a fuss. "How much David's prominence, internationally and nationally, played into their decision to proceed with this . . . who knows?" he said.

Mr. Miller, if you're so concerned about famous people getting charged because of their fame, I'm sure you'll want to help out a famous Florida victim by the name of Rush Limbaugh.
