Julian Phillips of FNC: "Are Iraqis Better off than Before War?"
Fox & Friends Weekend
Posted on 01/18/2004 6:01:39 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest
Julian Phillips, the simpering co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend, just completed an interview with a foreign policy expert. In discussing the situation in Iraq, Phillips posed this question:
"Unemployment is running 50-70% in Iraq, and the United States will be pulling out in some fashion in June. Is Iraq better off now than when Saddam was in power?"
I have never liked this effeminate, affirmative action liberal. I now officially detest him.

"Unemployment is running 50-70% in Iraq." What are the figures for Mexico?

Oh, I don't know. It's good to have a question like that asked. The answer is so obviously positive for President Bush and his decision to liberate the Iraqi people from Saddam.

A couple months ago, F&F Weekend had a guest host substituting for Phillips. Big black guy, first name Mark. He was vastly superior, and there was a thread in which virtually all agreed he'd be a welcome replacement for Phillips.

Fair and Balanced affirmative action at it's worst. There must be better liberal talent than this loooser.
I've actually started watching other news networks when this guy is on. Maybe Fox News Channel will get the hint.

Yes, but Phillips was not asking it in a rhetorical manner(although the guest expert treated it with derision). Phillips question was more in the spirit of Howard Dean's comment that he "supposed" Iraq was better off without Saddam.

I also find it virtually impossible to watch while he's on.

Julian the Idiot, turned me off for watching FNC on weekends. He is nothing but an America hating race baiter.

Leave him alone. He's a useful idiot.
FNC would lose credibility if they jettisoned everybody with a moderate or liberal slant.
Ever hear of Alan Combs? ;^)

F&F Weekend is called The Dumb One, The Pretty One and The Gay One. Guess which one Julian is? I'll give you a hint - he's hetero...

I can't figure out if this guy is a liberal or simply clueless. Hie niece just LEFT FOR IRAQ! Surely he thinks she is doing something worthwhile...he bragged on her quite a bit and even had her on the show a couple of weeks ago.
I also find him annoying. And that Mark Phillips guy came from CBS anad I have never seen him on anything again. Very mysterious.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Put him through a shredder and see if he still believes that.

You watch Julian? Wow...you're stronger than I am. I turned Fox and Friends Weekend off a year ago. They're the three stooges.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Mark Phillips!! LOL! I have Julian on the brain, I guess. Thanks for finding that!

Combs, while liberal, is bright and generally inoffensive. Phillips is a foppish ignoramus who I find unwatchable.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
By this arguement, blacks were much better off under slavery, when they all had jobs.

All I've ever seen Phillips on is "Fox and Friends" and he seemed ok there. Even assuming that he is homosexual, I don't much care. So is Andrew Sullivan and he's great.
