Awwww, now isn't that too bad. And to get your clock beaten by BBC International is bad, but Sky News and FOX too.
There will be a lot of resumes on the street soon and being a Liberal is not a job enhancer fit for the cover letter.

You mean Christianne Amanpour will soon be selling her wares on some streetcorner for $20 a pop?

These layed off employees from the Clintoon news network can just shift their positions to tour guides at the Clintoon library.

I hate to say it, but CNN International, while much more biased than domestic CNN, is still many times better than BBC World. They are our only choices under UBC (Shin) sattelite (Thailand).

Al Jazeera is trying to establish a US broadcast. I'm sure they are hiring.

Outsourced to India, no doubt. Why pay megabucks for "reporters"(spinners) who are not bringing viewers in anyway?

"Beleaguered global news service CNN International is rumoured to be considering major redundancies in a cost-cutting exercise."
Why? Are they merging with Al Jazero?
To: Timesink
This... is CNN.

I've been ragging on CNN to get them to aspire to do better than Fox. Looks like I was too late.
To: Timesink
Yeah, those dang redundancies are a pain.

Hopefully the layoffs will result in nothing more than a blank screen with a scroll at the bottom. CNN International is what Marx dreamed of, nothing more, nothing less.
