Yep. And even up here in New York, people who are country music fans here tend to be on the conservative side, to say the least. The thought that some "major artist" coming out in favor of Kerry would change their minds is ludicrous!

A liberal friend asked me why country music friends were so outraged over the Dixie Chicks' comments, but gave Willie Nelson a pass on his left-wing politics. I think it's because being a country music legend has its privileges!
