Are they reporting this as an opinion or conjecture, or are they citing any sources?

Bush criticized for not anticipating 9-11.
Bush criticized for the great Iraqi WMD hunt.
Maybe this will prove he is 1 for 2.

Loftus sounded quite serious tonight, very dark tone over this particular issue. Did you notice at the end of the report how Batchelor mentioned that missing 727? I wonder if they plan to load that thing with VX and crash it into London.
To: playball0
This is why no WMD is found in Iraq - it's all out of country!

Are these the WMDs that the dims hope we never find? Can the VX be "fingerprinted" to a unique source?

WABC's radio's Bachelor & John Loftis (sp) reporting Syria gave Iraq's chemical WMD to AlQaeda.
A better source would be nice. These guys are like Debka with air time.

Syria is notorious for having a big chemical and biological capacity (they apparently went that route instead of nukes though probably they've now got Saddam's).

U.N. Report: Anthrax, VX Nerve Gas, Missles Missing in Iraq
http://www.hk94.com/weblog/?p=68 Professor Hans Blix, leader of the U.N. weapons inspector teams has released an initial report detailing Iraqs weapons of mass destruction programs.
VX nerve gas is missing and unaccounted for by the Iraqis. The report details a smoking gun Iraqi Air Force document. The document indicates that 13,000 chemical bombs were dropped by the Iraqi Air Force between 1983 and 1988, while Iraq has declared that 19,500 bombs were consumed during this period. Thus there is a discrepancy of 6,500 bombs. The amount of chemical agent in these bombs would be in the order of about 1,000 tonnes. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, we must assume these quantities are now unaccounted for.

It makes perfect sense to me that Saddam's prized WMD would end up in "friendly" hands, most likely their Baathist "brothers" in Syria, and that Syria could permit these weapons to be deployed by al-queada. We should at once deliver an ultimatum to Syria that they first, turn over all WMD to the USA, and second, cooperate with unlimited inspection for WMD by the USA, or the USA will within five days declare war on Syria, period, end of story.
