Don't Waste Rhetorical Ammo on Teresa Heinz Kerry -- She's a Decoy. Don't Repeat 1992 Mistake.

Warning to all Conservatives... don't waste time with Teresa Heinz Kerry. She is a decoy deployed by the Kerry campaign to divert fire from Kerry. Don't fall for it.
In 1992, the GOP wasted it's fire on Hillary, who was not a candidate. The result? Bill Clinton escaped almost unscathed, and the GOP did not get much of a bump from the convention -- most of which was wasted with too much focus on Hillary -- a non-candidate.
The lesson -- focus on the candidate, not non-candidate decoys.
Don't repeat the 1992 mistake!

In 1992, the GOP wasted it's fire on Hillary, who was not a candidate. The result? Hillary Clinton, junior Senator of New York State.

I don't think he was unscathed. I think Hillary really hurt him in '92. She regularly polled very badly; it seems naturally expedient to emphasis her. Were it not for Perot, Clinton never would have happened.

A good point worth repeating...often! People also forget that Clinton got far less a percentage of the popular vote than Bush!

What? Don`t you want Tootsie as co-President?"She`s a man, man!"

I agree fully with Mr. or Ms. Stein. Republicans often get distracted by peripheral things, like candidates' wives. While Teresa Heinz Kerry would be an awful embarrassment as first lady, and no doubt drags her husband even further to the left than he already is, it's unlikely that she can be used as a means of educating undecided voters.
We must keep our eyes, and their eyes, on the ball -- Kerry's failings and his record.
To: jmstein7
Probably, but I can detest them both.

I don't accept your analysis. I think Hillary has been a lightning rod that has in fact energized the base and some independents. I say bash em both.
