-the World Trade Center, favored by Mohammed, whose nephew Yousef was in prison for the 1993 bombing of the towers that represented America's financial might. Dollars to donuts, the prosecution in that "criminal prosecution" handed over the blueprints to the WTC in discovery.

This cannot be true. Everyone knows that it was all hatched on W's Inauguration Day.

What bothers me most about the inaction of the Clinton Administration is how he assured us the he would bring these people to justice and than did absolutely nothing

I'm not a lawyer, but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. This is an excellent read. What is 'discovery'?

In a criminal trial, the prosecution has to hand over any and all information it has or may use in the prosecution of its case; sometimes the defense can even ask the judge to order the prosecution to hand over certain items.
I have thought from the very beginning that having the blueprints of WTC would have helped them determine their fuel load and approach.
They should have never been tried in a criminal case.

And the impeached one will never be held accountable.

We KNOW that there were 4 planes for certain. We don't know if there were more. I somehow think there may have been more hits on the agenda, perhaps California. I'm sure the terrorists didn't think we'd order the skies cleared.

What do you expect, from a man whose only major achievement, as President, was maintaining an erection, in the Oval Office, for more that five minutes?

Thanks for the background.
"I have thought from the very beginning that having the blueprints of WTC would have helped them determine their fuel load and approach."
They (rats) can plan their actions based upon what was 'discovered' by the comission. Isn't that standard operating procedures to let the other side know your evidence? If that was changed, and the defense or procesution could spring on surprise evidence, would that be a good or bad thing? I don't know that answer, asking legal minds out there.

Tell the commission that Atta's little ditty: "A cake with a stick hanging down" is the Capital and Capital Mall. From a bird's eye view, it describes it perfectly.

Dollars to donuts, the prosecution in that "criminal prosecution" handed over the blueprints to the WTC in discovery.Better than that, the prosecution disclosed various methods of surveillance and intelligence gathering that were immediately rendered useless upon disclosure.

Indy, I'm not smart enough to argue the law; my only point was that the Clinton administration made a HUGE mistake when they tried them as criminals. That gave them all kinds of "rights" I don't think they deserved.
Maybe Torie will bring us up to speed on your questions.

Plot Hatched in 1996
Tom Clancy's Debt of Honor Published in 1994, but Khalid Shaikh Mohammed probably had to wait for the paperback edition to come up with the idea
Spoiler Alert: Debt of Honor ends with a commercial airliner crashing into congress during the state of the union and killing the president and most of congress.
Osama Bin Laden planned for Sept 11, because he wanted to do it when Congress was in session.
Hopefully someone in Athens has read the Clancy book about the biological attack at the Olympics.

Thanks, I'm not a legal person either, but you gave me more information than I had. Life is so complex, and the actions of the rats are, if not treasonous, borders on sedation. It's a shame they have no morals, they are not the great party they once were. My parents, lifelong democrats, have been republicans since Reagan, any most of their friend are the same (they are in their mid 70's). The democrats as Ann Coulter said, are going the way of the Whigs.
