Yeah, anyone who doesn't get this has their heads up their asses. Can you imagine if he had jumped up and ran out? There would be no end to the grief he would have received. All of those kids scared.

For liberals and the media to think that they must go to this extreme effort shows just how effectively Bush has pushed them out of the mainstream of American consciousness.

If Bush gets reelected, watch Hollywood pull this epic out of the documentary category and nominate it for best picture.

If I had the time and were more clever, I'd write an essay and try to get it published.
It would give three or four woulda/coulda/shoulda scenarios, and what Dim reaction and media headlines would have been.
Like if he'd left immediately.
Headline: "Bush flees class, leaves students terrified and hurt"
Story: "I'm deeply disappointed," said Senate minority leader Tom Daschle, "that the President would put appearances ahead of the wellbeing of children." "What?" roared Al Franken derisively. "Was the shrub so panicked he couldn't have just stayed with the kids another 5, 6, 7 minutes?"
And so forth.

For those of you who do not know the definition of "catamite" - it means a boy-toy for the the devotees of NAMBLA, reserved specifically for sexual perversions.

This propaganda film reminds of Joseph Goebbels'
Der ewige Jude {The Eternal Jew}.
They both play fast and loose with the truth to create support for a lie.
They both rely on a heap of innuendo and conspiracy theories,
-whereas bold faced lies are presented as fact.
Whilst Joseph Goebbels' Der ewige Jude brews hatred towards Jews in the middle of a war,
Micheal Moore's F/9/11 brews up hatred towards Bush in the middle of the war we find ourselfs in.

The DVD will come out this fall. Can the tv ads show pictures of President Bush, or will that constitute electioneering under the new campaign finance law?

His inexplicable paralysis wasn't underlined in news reports at the time, and only Moore thought to contact the teacher in that schoolroom -- who, as it turned out, had made her own video of the visit. The expression on Bush's face as he sits there is odd indeed. This has the distinct possibility of being greatly damaging to Bush's re-election effort. We should NOT underestimate this.

That accounts for the quease-inducing footage of Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz wetting his pocket comb in his mouth before slicking back his hair. When that doesn't do it, he spits in his hand and wipes it down. If his mother is alive, I hope for his sake she doesn't see this film. Funny...all I can think of when I read this is a hidden camera showing Bill Clinton defiling a 20-yr old intern or groping a 44-yr old professional woman--both in the Oval Office. However, HIS mother most likely would not have been bothered by Bill's conduct, since she married 4 men of disgustingly low moral charatcer.

I completely agree, this will be damaging. Quite frankly, I think it is something of a minor miracle anytime a Republican wins the WhiteHouse. This year will be no different I am afraid.

To Moore, this is more evidence that Bush has an unhealthy relationship with the Saudis, and that it may have influenced his decision to go to war against Iraq at least partially on their behalf. Ignorance=strength.
The idea that Saudi Arabia wanted this war is completely contrary to the facts and their economic interests. Yet in the context of the Bush Admin's failures to explain the war, shut up and pretend to be nice to countries like France that don't reciprocate such a Mooretruth might gain traction.
