Another problem for them is the 'Bush lied and we bought it, and that's why we voted for the war" line. They are going to have a Hell of a time making the case that they should be sitting down at a table across from the new Chi com leader, Putin and the North Korean apparatchiks if Bush (who they insist is the biggest dolt ever) duped them. It makes no sense.

Judy Woodruff apparently decided to forego her daily face-tightening session to anchor their coverage. I swear that woman looks like she's already been embalmed. I'll never forget Judy crying on the night Bush got elected. At least the Edwards nomination got a smile out of old Vinegar Puss.

I shudder to think that even the dumbest of the dumb can buy this media lie. All I have heard from Kerry since day one is an attack on Bush. If that isn't negative, what is?

I'm sort of glad that Edwards was the pick. Gephardt may have helped the Dems more and I think Edwards is much more vulnerable.

I don't buy into the Hillary theory all the time, but I DO believe she wants the White House. It seems 2008 is her only shot, so I'll be looking for some signs of sabotage in the Kerry campaign.

I do think he is pretty. I mean that's just reality. He is a pretty thing. And, yyou're right, his do has a lot to do with it.

I agree. Gephardt is a lousy pol, but he could've credibly claimed a Blue Collar heritage (unsullied by subsequent trial lawyer cash) and made a difference in the Midwest
(a region more gettable for the Dems than the South).

Also, Gep has experience (in a post 9-11 world-- that seems essential), Edwards has none. But Edwards is pretty and he has some cute kids.

I think you nailed it. That's why KE04 is pushing the idea that there isn't any war--that AQ only is on the move and pissed off because W is POTUS.
