A man was caught on a taxiway at Los Angeles International Airport after he climbed a fence at the airport.
Officials say 23-year-old Arshak Hunanyan was carrying a bag when he was caught on Sunday and said he was hoping to sneak onto a plane bound for Paris.
Hunanyan was held for observation at a hospital and was never deemed a risk to airport safety. He reportedly told authorities he had recently been diagnosed with depression -- but was not taking his medication.
Councilman Jack Weiss, a frequent critic of airport security, says the incident shows more must be done to keep L-A-X safe.
But airport officials say Hunanyan's quick capture shows how well they are able to handle such incidents.
Why are these @$$holes never named "Tim Smith" or "Bob Taylor?"

Given what these people promise to do; given what they have done; an over the fence move at an airport should be grounds to shoot the person so engaged. . .
Not surprising. If you happen to be heading West on the 105 freeway look at the fence surrounding the cargo carriers (Fed-Ex, etc) at LAX. Miles of chain link, abandoned tugs and cargo containers. Anyone, even someone with no 'spidey-sense', could scale the fence and move around undetected.
Yes --- except with this guy Reagan must have shut down mental hospitals in foreign countries also. Not much Homeland Security when this type of person can be coming into or living in our country.
Why..because he's a foreigner? Give me a break. I, a WASP and citizen, would be thrownn in jail never to see the light of day, and this idiot will get nothing...nothing...you watch.
