Sure you're logged in? :-)
Seriously, JimRob's been modifying the system for the past few days. My prefs are being ignored too. I'm sure this bug will be squashed quickly.
To: lewislynn
These are not the preferences you're looking for.
Are you talking about the loss of ability to see comments on the My Comments page? Just click on the "full" link in the top right corner of the page. That'll fix it.

Thanks for mentioning this. I thought it was just my preferences that were being ignored by the system.

I question the timing of your preferences.
To: lewislynn
Mine seem fine. Have you tried redoing it?

I question the timing of your preferences.I'm deeply saddened, because if it stays like this it'll be a good excuse for me to give up this nonsense and get back to a more productive life again.

These are "my preferences" I'm NOT getting:
Headers Only... Brief listings showing the title of the thread, to whom the comment is addressed (if addressed), the numbered sequence within the thread, the date and time, and the posting user's screen name.

Yeah, me too. I can't get more than 50 postings listed per screen, no matter how many times I punch in 250. I just assume it's part of the overhaul and will eventually be dialed in.
But thanks for the opportunity to bitch about it.

My question is this, when you are on a certain forum, such as Chat, or religion and click on browse, it always reverts back to the news forum instead of the topics that are on Chat, religion etc. (hope that made at least a little sense) Is it me, or is this the way it works now?

And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
Hey, these aren't my preferences!
Same as it ever was...
To: Dont Mention the War

It's an in-joke - a couple of months ago someone posted a thread asking how he could tell if he was logged in. This had the same effect on freepers as chum on a school of sharks, and the phrase became a part of freeperlore. (See also "beeber" and "stuned".)
