NEW YORK - Out on the street with protesters, there are environmentalists, pacifists, even some capitalists - selling anti-Bush T-shirts, of course.
But to Republicans here, the great unwashed sweating in and blocking the streets, are defined in one word: Democrats.
``Frankly it reminds me of why I left the Democratic Party,'' said former Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer. ``I used to be a Democrat and I turned instead to Ronald Reagan's upbeat optimism instead of the negativity and the liberalism and the protest movement of the Democratic Party. It wasn't my cup of tea.''
Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie has continuously referred to the protesters as Democrats, saying if they are anti-Bush they must be Democrats.
Of course, Democrats deny they're behind the protests or rallies.
``Republicans for political reasons, for political tactics, were going to try and foist that storyline to the press and to the public, but that dog just won't hunt,'' said Democratic National Committee spokesman Jano Cabrera.
``We don't have any problem with anyone exercising their constitutional right. But we do not want these protesters to serve as a disruption to the Republican National Convention,'' Cabrera said.
The suggestion doesn't exactly sit well with protesters either, many of whom protested John Kerry's convention in Boston, back independent Ralph Nader or just hate all of the above.
hahahahaaa !
Balony!
The democrats are aiding and abetting them for all they are worth.
bump
LOL, yeah that's it. Disown them. Funny how I didn't see one anti-sKerry/Edwards sign among literally thousands that I did observe on Sunday.
What I did see is stay our of the Bushes. Screw Bush. Bush is evil. Cheney is a Haliburton this or that. Stop the war. The war is evil. Money for schools not war. Palestine is good. Israel is evil. I almost seemed as if we were reading the Democrat Platform on Placards.
Yeah, "We have nothing to do with them" is really going to sell.
Did anyone see these folks in Boston? No
Was there a lot of violence in Boston? No
Were police officers accosted in Boston? No
Democrats lie like children do. They tell you this big whopper and then sit there with those great big saucer eyes and wonder how you know it isn't true.
Go to your room Democrats. You've been bad, real bad.
;-)
Up to 40 of those dastardly demonstrators are "squatting" in one room of abandoned housing "projects" left over from LBJ's "War On Poverty" in one room some creep has been living in without services for years!!!
These are the creeple people that think we owe them a living! They hate Bush's "Society of Ownership" that is coming to force them to take responsibility for their "burden on society!" No wonder David Letterman is so fascinated with the RATS in NYC!!!
George Soros should buy them all a ticket to his beloved Paris, but of course he wants to join the media in "comforting the afflicted while afflicting the comfortable," except for himself, Kennedy, Kerry and Theressa!!!
Whatever, meathead.
The DemonRats disowned Bubba Klinton right after the election of 2000 when the news of his final scam, pardons-for-cash, was hitting the newswires. Now they're trying to do it again with the protestors. Well, forget it. Bubba is their boy and so are these scumbag protestors. The DemonRats can't just throw them away like a used intern when the PR turns negative.
What's funny here is that Jano Cabrera probably just pissed off a whole bunch of loyal protestors. They're out there hitting the streets doing the DNC's bidding, but the DNC is suddenly disowning them because the news media is reporting negatively on the ties between DNC and the protest movement. The protestors have just been relegated to the status of the misbehaving mongrel dog that is kept in a back bedroom when decent company comes over for dinner and they can't be happy about that.
If Jano Cabrera had the IQ of a carrot, he would have said that the protestors are good Democrats who just got overzealous (the wrong execution of the right idea, that sort of thing).
Here's the Boston Herald trying to help the DemonRats disown the protestors. Yeah, I'm really sure that the majority of them are anti-Kerry < sarcasm >. The hardcore greenies may be pissed at Kerry for not being left enough, but they're sure as heck voting for him. Nadar can't even get on the ballot and they don't want Bush to win another election.
``We don't have any problem with anyone exercising their constitutional right."
That is unless, of course, you are a Vet, in which case will sue your a$$ and send intimidating letters to any media outlet you try to exercise that right.
Yeah, RIght. They pay these folks to come to the event. They tell them what they want done. Then then they pull a Kerry, and claim exactly the opposite.
I would be thrilled if I could say I thought the public has finally figured all this Shtuff out. I wish all the Zell Millers and other real patriot Demonats would just walk across the aisle and not go back.
The imperialist rain dampened but couldn't destroy the educational tool of the masses - The People's Cube.
This Ultimate Egalitarian Puzzle teaches the people the correct attitude towards choice, competition, and collectivism, as well as improves self-esteem and provides hours of entertainment to the proletarians.
The advantages of The People's Cube are obvious:
NOBODY IS TOO FAST
NOBODY IS TOO SLOW
NOBODY IS TOO SMART
NOBODY IS TOO STUPID
EVERYBODY IS EQUALLY AVERAGE
Too little, too late. This city is crawling with left-wing scumbags... and the rest of the people, the ones who have to work for a living, got a full view of what these spoiled-brat protesters are really like.
These people make me ill. Despicable.
The Democrats can't disown nothing.
The Democrats spawned the radical protesters. The Democrats nurtured and encouraged the crazy protesters by feeding them lies to the point the protesters grew up big, ballistic and psycho.
The Democrats cannot disown the protesters now any more than a parent can genetically disown a child.
They are stuck with the little punks.
Shouldn't all the kids be back in school? Is protesting a required course in poli sci classes at Columbia? NYU? I am sure most of these punks will get a "B" jut for protesting.
Quick John needs to step forward and denounce his out-of-control demonstrators.
