I'm sorry if you think I'm making fun, but this looks like one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. At least it definitely is NOT breaking news.
"but this looks like one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. "
Yes, and if true, will be one of the dumbest things you've ever heard.
I don't mind being a honkie, but what if I'm in traffic and start blowing the horn and nobody around me has gotten the message?
LOL! Or if your car is in the driveway and you have neighbors who sleep in late...
Or if you're driving along by a funeral procession, or a daycare bus filled with kids, or somebody with a bad case of road rage.....this could be bad.:)
Who was the lamebrain that thought this stunt up? Can't we have silent prayers and churchbells?
Great Job! Too bad it is not April First.
Uh, thats ok I think I'll just fly my flag and send another $25 to the Swifties.
Have you checked the website?
I suggest we boycott Exxon for a day instead to force the gas companies to lower prices, then send a chain email to everyone on our list with a copy to Bill Gates. All the money we save on gas plus the $245 we each get from Gates can then be invested in the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, which is trying to move funds out of the country and will pay us 10% of what we help them move. The megamillion proceeds can then go to the survivors of 9/11. Isn't this more productive than honking horns? What say you?
Somehow, I get the feeling that the Bush Campaign is not on board with Wis4Bush.com or whatever the heck it is called.
Can't imagine what my neighbors will think should I go out to the driveway at 10 a.m. and start honking my horn.
Maybe if there had been widespread publicity. Still, I think a national moment of silence, not horn honking, would be more in order.
I can't say this idea is very well thought-out. Being obnoxiously noisy is not the conduct of Americans. It is the conduct of Democrats.
The sentiment is wonderful; however, might it be more effective if at the times listed above everyone lock, load..
Perhaps you should put down the 48 Ounce Miller High Life and do some real work for the President in Wisconsin.
Honk! Honk!
This could set off a chain reaction of nationwide road rage.
