I sent an email to O'Reilly earlier this week challenging him to demand the release of Kerry's records throught the Freedom of Information Act. He hasn't answered the call, nor wll he.

Records maintained by the Federal Government are subject to two separate laws with completely different objectives. In general, the Privacy Act is designed to protect the privacy of individuals while the Freedom of Information Act is designed to facilitate open access to records.

The Air Force has a separate web page for each of these acts.

The site for the Freedom of Information Act is http://www.foia.af.mil/.
The site for the Privacy Act is http://www.foia.af.mil/Privacy/.

These are rather complex laws and are often conflicting. Disagreements are quite often settled in court. It may take some study but if you will go to the web sites, you can get a general understanding of what is at issue.

Did the judge demand that the government release kerry's records?

Has anyone filed a FOIA request for Kerry's records in this judge's jurisdiction? It'd be awfully hard for the judge to rule against his own decision.

Full AP story now posted on Drudge.

Drudge links a Yahoo/Reuters web page. Not a difficult trick.

Bush has already released all of his military records. The liberal media couldn't find anything incriminating, that's why they're going after office memos of his commanders and forging them when they still can't find anything incriminating.

So, does this mean that Kerry has to release all of his records, too? Bush came clean, Kerry has done nothing but stonewall. Who's the guilty party here?

This skiffy liberal activist judge is just doing this for a headline, Bush already released everything.

Now you certainly don't think that the fair minded judge will treat Kerry any diffently, now do you?

Baer’s comments, about demeaning the police, refer to statements in his first opinion implying that the police in question were part of a corrupt and incompetent force and that a specific officer who had testified was not to be believed.185 As a result, Baer originally suppressed 34 kilograms of

My question is how many of the police officers that he called incompetent died in 9-11?

Judge Harold Baer Jr is the judge that ordered the records released. Not Kerry's btw. he is a low life leftie that came to Texas.

U.S. District Judge Harold Baer Jr. handed down the order late Wednesday in New York.

One 'Rat washes the other.

Pubbies are going to have to set up a cadre of tort lawyers to sue everyone silly in the federal district for northern Idaho.

"Take a memo. Dear Judge: As we say in Texas.......pound sand. Your pink slip is in the mail. Enjoy your retirement. I Remain, George W. Bush, President of the United States, and by God Don't You Forget It."
