Nice find... here's the full text

Speeches:
Congressman Hinojosa's remarks at San Juan Nuestra Clinica groundbreaking

April 7, 2004 – It is a pleasure to be here today. I would like to thank Mayor Laredo, Mr. Gonzalez, and of course, Lucy Ramirez and the board members present for allowing me to take part in this very special event.

Nuestra Clinica del Valle is a huge source of pride and admiration for me. Lucy Ramirez, along with the Nuestra board of directors, and the dedicated staff at all of the clinics know no limits when it comes to serving the health needs of the Rio Grande Valley.

By simply not accepting any funding or personnel shortage as a barrier to their mission, Nuestra Clinica del Valle has been able to provide services to more than 29,000 South Texans. That is almost 30,000 of our friends and neighbors who will live longer and healthier lives because of the people here before you today.

At a time when medical facilities throughout the nation are closing their doors or at least cutting services, Nuestra Clinica continues to grow and touch more lives.
The reason for this progress is that Lucy Ramirez knows how to facilitate local and federal partnerships. This groundbreaking for the new San Juan facility is the result of the coordination of funding from two federal agencies, land donated from the city, and assistance from my congressional office...all brought together by Ms. Ramirez. With her unique brand of diplomacy skills and fundraising ability, she could have a great career in politics! But, as you know, we really need her here at the helm of Nuestra Clinica.

I am sure that this San Juan facility will be at capacity from the day it opens and that Nuestra Clinica del Valle will continue to find ways to reach out to the indigent and others who have no other place to turn. It is an honor to witness your seemingly constant expansion, and to be able to help out where I can. I commend you all for your work and congratulate you for your success.

Thank you for having me. I look forward to returning for the ribbon-cutting of the San Juan Clinic.

Anatomy of a Forgery
http://www.spectator.org/dsp_article.asp?art_id=7096

According to a DNC staffer, the documents were seen by both senior staff members at the DNC, as well as the Kerry campaign.

"More than a couple people heard about the papers," says the DNC staffer. "I've heard that they ended up with the Kerry campaign, for them to decide to how to proceed, and presumably they were handed over to 60 Minutes, which used them the other night. But I know this much. When there was discussion here, there were doubts raised about their authenticity."

These documents probably changed hands dozens of times to clear away any trace of the ultimate culprits. Who are they? Wanna bet one of them is interested in running for the presidency in 2008 as the Democratic nominee.

Lucy Ramirez is of course Lucy from the "Peanuts"
comic strip. Could be her married name. Who'd a thunk it?

The point is that a reporter from Boston Globe interviewed Burkett back in February, but when his story didn't check out, he had sense enough, not to publish it, unlike USAToday, who apparently swallowed his stories hook, line and sinker, without checking them.

Lucy Ramirez is the name Burkett has given. He has no proof she exists. His previous "source" was named "Conn".

Connnnnnnnnnnn!

Who in the Hell is Lucy Ramirez?"

She was last seen swimming back across the Rio Grande. The other mystery character "Conn" is better known as "Con-Man", a description that fits most Democrats. Meanwhile the plot sickens.

So was Ramirez in the Army National Guard?

A bit of an odd coincidence that the language in the forged documents matches that of the Army National Guard and not the Air National Guard that Bush was in.

And who is it that served in the Army National Guard and would use that lingo?

Bill Burkett.

The same Bill Burkett that provided the "documents" to CBS and others.

Burkett now maintains that the source of the papers was Lucy Ramirez, who he says phoned him from Houston in March to offer the documents. USA TODAY has been unable to locate Ramirez.

Has any one looked in Fort Marcy Park?

I would be very careful about this. Ramirez is a common surname. I'm not saying this is not the correct Lucy Ramirez...I'm just throwing in some caution.
