ITHACA--According to the Ithaca Journal (which cannot be reposted here thanks to the cretins at Gannett news), "[l]ocal activists...will share their experiences of attending marches and demonstrations against the war on Iraq, against the crackdown on civil liberties, and against the economic and social policies of the Bush administration."
The paper also reports that the protesters will "share experiences about mass arrests ...in New York City [and show] a short film, by Danny Burns, showing scenes from the week of protests."
The free event takes today place at 6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Church (which is, at least in Ithaca, rapidly displacing Islam as the "religion of evil") in Ithaca.
Bush bashing and Liberal promoting signs EVERYWHERE!
Which is why we call it "the City of Evil."
bump
Like hippies would pay for stuff.
A tie-dyed circle jerk.
Yeah I live just outside Ithaca and work within its boundaries---send help pleeeese.
Actually it can be fun. The town is so liberal that everyone naturally assumes everyone else is--well-- an extreme liberal. Thye are also so predictable as a result.
One can have lots of fun completely trashing Kerry and RATS as same old same old--too conversative and not really being committed to a true commie agenda. Causes hard core Ithacans to have to agree after which they grow very pale.
The concept that there are conservatives/freepers in their community never even occurs to them.
I wonder if they'll show clips from the Protest Warrior NYC experience?
AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So, Ithaca can be described as " Group Think " ???
Belly Girl Lives !!!
shared bull shirt is STILL bull shirt... do they all hold hands while doing it too???
all their poor little miss used and abused and hooray for our side stories are pathetic
My friend john and i are the biggest republicans in Ithaca. I have lived here all my life. I currently run the NYRA www.nyra.us and that says it all. We have a protest schedualed for tomorrow at the police station due to the removal of the US Flag. I am calling all the local media stations, hopefully youll see me in the Journal, but I doubt it, why would they print that???
