(An open letter to the MSM) Enough is enough!

Here is your chance to get back to true American Journalism!

With the uproar over CBS and their obvious partisan politics and liberally biased reporting during this election period, now is the chance for the entrenched mainstream media to regain the respect of the American people.

The mainstream media should take this opportunity to take a long hard look at their news organizations and ask themselves if they are truly non-partisan when it comes to politics. I am sure if you take a long hard look, you will agree that you have not been exactly honest with the American people. It is time to take a stand and regain the respect you once had.

Unfortunately, over the years, the main stream media has began to lean to the left. It is not their job to influence the public! They can dispute and argue their neutral objectivity all day long but in the end, they will know it to be un-true. There are countless studies and web-logs that have established this. If you do not believe this, it is only because you refuse to accept the truth. Mary Mapes at CBS freely admits her political loyalty. Speaking for most of mainstream America I call on you to return to the reporting that has made this country the bastion of free speech. How in the world do you expect to teach fledgling democracies like Afghanistan and Iraq how we have become the strongest nation in history if you let politics and bias interfere with your reporting? Is this not how Al Jazeera operates? It will take you all of ten minutes researching this topic on the web to understand how most of Americans feel, republican and democrat. Have you thrown fair and balanced reporting out the window for your own personal ideals? It appears you no longer will even hire reporters that do not agree with your liberal views. To most of mainstream America it would also appear you are trying to sway the American people to your personal views. This is not fair and balanced, non-partisan politics!

Are you just ignoring us?

I would think that with this latest fiasco you would pay closer attention to the pajama brigade, (as some news organization elitists refer to us). For some self-serving reason we are not to be taken seriously. Anything we bring up is suspect and discarded without any scrutiny by anyone whatsoever.

What has occurred lately should open your eyes to the vast information and instant communication available to the public via the web.

CBS is only the tip of the iceberg. We will continue to investigate everything reported during this election cycle along with other important issues facing the country at this time.

It is time for you to address this publicly!

All America awaits your response.

The viewers vote with their remote, and cable news is killing the big 3.

It is the responsibility of the media to report the facts, as they are, with no spin either way. The American public is perfectly capable of making their own decisions as to who best represents our interests, provided the information fed to us by the media is accurate. This is a moral imperative. Freedom of the press is one of the most profound institutions that sets us apart from most of the world. MSM is badly abusing the priveledge that many have given their life to uphold. IT MUST STOP NOW. Freepers will know, and expose, all untruths.

A new era of checks and balance is upon us, so watch yourselves.

Here's the problem.

MSM never has been, never will be HONEST with the public.
It is not their job. Their job is to pick the stories that attract viewers/readers and hype the story as much as possible.

Because this gives the ability (picking what stories to print) to the news agencies to control what the READING/VIEWING public THINKS ABOUT or BELIEVES, this gives those agencies tremendous POWER.

This power is sold to the highest bidder. Which usually is the political party dedicated to criminal enterprise, lying to the public, maintaining a standard for the elite vs. the peons, etc. This has been the Democratic party for as long as I have been alive (and before).

That is why bloggers in general and websites like FR bring out the TRUTH. They are not centrally 'controlled' by a management team which must survive by selling out.

MSM companies have to fight to stay alive, stay on top, otherwise they have nothing to sell to the POWERBROKERS.

To assume CBS, AP, etc. are BAD because they have gone farther and farther to the left (let's say it like it is: Latin for left is SINISTRA. The English derivation is SINISTER, meaning EVIL INTENTIONED) to miss the point that all MSM's, all newspapers, magazines, print WHAT WORKS BEST for THEM and their MASTERS. The truth is not what they are about, ever.

NEVER HAPPEN. NEVER DID, NEVER WILL.

As long as any MSM is dependent on profits, this will never be.
